Introduction to the college
Stillorgan College of Further Education has been a specialist centre for Post Leaving Certificate (PLC) and Further Education courses since 1986. During this time it has developed an enviable reputation for its delivery of Further Education and Adult Education programmes.
The staff have extensive industry experience in their respective fields and are dedicated to ensuring that, whether aiming to move to Higher Education or entering the employment market, students leave the college with every skill necessary for the future.
The aim of all the staff in Stillorgan College is to enable you achieve your full potential and to develop the skills and qualifications needed for today’s world. We aim to foster a learning environment that is supportive and collaborative, while at the same time developing personal responsibility and the ability to become an independent learner. This is reflected in our Mission Statement.

The courses offered in the college combine practical training with the development of strong academic skills in order to develop lifelong learning skills for all our students. Because all of our courses are accredited by QQI they offer an alternative pathway to universities and Institutes of Technology. Indeed, Stillorgan College has an excellent record in facilitating students to progress to degree courses.
The college has state-of-the-art facilities and our computer, media and other equipment are constantly upgraded to keep up with today’s ever-changing technology.
Sited close to Stillorgan Shopping Centre, the college is serviced by many bus routes and is also accessible via Dart and Luas networks. Car parking is available on the college grounds.
The college is fully wheelchair accessible. Mature students are welcome on all courses.
