Course Aims
This new course provides a follow on to level 5 Media Production, and Journalism. The course will be particularly relevant to those who are interested in increasing their knowledge of their area prior to 3rd level or for entry level positions in a working environment. One of the main aims of the course is to prepare a more advanced body of work and experiences which will help students in the future. It can also provide students with a level of knowledge to gain entry into junior roles in the industry or work on a freelance basis.

Entry Requirements:
This course is open to those who have completed the Leaving Certificate or its equivalent or students who have already completed a relevant level 5 course. Since places on the course are limited, applicants will be interviewed.
Course Duration: 1 year, Full-time
Certification: FETAC Level 6 Certificate in Advanced Media Production or Journalism
