Note: Correspondence from the college in relation to your application is generally by way of email and SMS text.  It is important that the information provided is correct and that you can access the email address and mobile telephone number you have given in this application form.

To use this online facility you must have:

• A valid PPS number (NB: You must use your own PPS number when completing the online application form.) 
• An email address (All correspondence will be sent to this email address, so it is important that you have access to this online address.)
• A mobile phone number (The college will send text reminders to this number.)

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Applications are invited from interested students from January onwards.  Applications can only be made online.  Places for courses may be offered after each round of interviews, subject to availability, through to the end of September. Correspondence from the college in relation to your application is generally by way of email and SMS text.  It is important that the information provided is correct and that you can access the email address and mobile telephone number you have given in this application form.

Once your application is complete you will be sent login details that will allow you to track the status of your application.

All applications are acknowledged.  Where places remain available, candidates will be invited for interview. You will be notified shortly before your interview of the date and time. 

Interview rounds are as follows:

March: First round of interviews take place - Offers are generally made within two weeks of your interview. To accept an offer a non-refundable deposit of €50 is required. (Balance of Enrolment Charges is payable in August)
May: Second round of interviews take place - Offers are generally made within two weeks of your interview. To accept an offer a non-refundable deposit of €50 is required. (Balance of Enrolment Charges is payable in August)
August/September: Third round of interviews take place - Full enrolment charges payable when accepting place.

In the event of a course being oversubscribed, a waiting list is compiled.

FEES: EXEMPTIONS AND REFUNDS 2017

There may be partial exemptions available on some elements of the enrolment charges.  The breakdown of these charges and applicable exemptions are as follows:

Non-refundable deposit (to accept course offer following interview)  €50 Refunds are available to VTOS recipients only.
Materials/Services €110 No exemptions available.
FETAC/QQI Exam fees €50 (Level 5)
€80 (Level 6)
Medical card, VTOS.
(Certain other welfare claimants may also be exempt from this fee.)
PLC Government Levy €200 Medical card, Student Grant, BTEA, VTOS.
Other Charges Varies Other costs may apply for some courses, where additional certification or specific resources are required.  Details of these further costs are available from the college.
