COURSE:

Introduction to Computers (ECDL) for Adults.

Course Aims:
This well-established and successful course provides intensive training in all aspects of modern office skills. It is ideally suited to those who are returning to work after an absence of a number of years.

At course completion students will have achieved the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL), this is an internationally recognised standard of competence certifying that the holder has the knowledge and skills needed to use the most common computer applications efficiently and productively.

-Introduction to Computers
-Word-processing
-Spreadsheets
-Database
-Powerpoint
-Internet and Email
-Text Production
-Computers for Living (Includes current digital issues like: Use Skype, Download Podcasts, manage digital Photos, use I-Tunes, burn CDs etc.)

Entry Requirements:
This course is open to anyone who wishes to learn about computers. Since places are limited on the course applicants will be interviewed.

Course Duration:
1 year, 4 Mornings per week 9.15 am - 1.00 pm

Certification: European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) Further Education and Training Awards Council (FETAC)
