Course Aims To prepare students for a
career in the Airline sector and the wider travel and tourism industry or provide
a foundation for further study at a higher level. Past students have found positions
working in Airlines,Tour
Operators, and Travel Agencies. Some past students have also progressed to higher
education programmes in Dublin Institute of Technology on completion of this course.
Stillorgan
College has been running IATA/UFTAA* approved courses in Travel & Tourism
for over fifteen years and has an excellent reputation in the industry. Work
Experience is an integral component of this course. Previous students have obtained
work placements with travel agents, tour operators, hotels, tourist boards and
visitor attractions. Many
employers in the travel industry contact the college directly when recruiting

Entry
Requirements: Leaving
Certificate to include English and Maths. Since numbers are limited on this course,
all applicants will be interviewed. Course Duration:
1 academic year, (Sept -May) 4 days in the classroom Certification:
FETAC Level 5 Cert in International Geography & Travel, Destinations.
Cabin Crew Studies & Airline Formalities. ECDL.
