Course Aims To prepare students for a
career in the further study at higher level. Past students have found positions
working in Airlines, Tour Operators, and Travel Agencies. Some past students have
also progressed to higher education programmes in Dublin Institute of Technology
on Completion of this program.
Galileo
CRS The Galileo computer reservations system is the most widely
CRS in the travel industry with approximately 70% of Irish agents using the system.
This course will provide students with an IATA approved Diploma in Galileo, which
is endorsed by Galileo Ireland and IAOT* Stillorgan

over fifteen years and has and excellent reputation in the industry. Many
employers in the travel industry contact the college directly when recruiting

Work experience is an integral
component of this course. Previous students have obtained work placements with
travel agents, tour operators, hotels, tourist boards and visitor attractions.
Entry
Requirements: Leaving
Certificate: A minimum of five passes which should include English and Maths.
Candidates will be interviewed.
Course Duration:
1 academic year, (Sept - May) 4 days in the classroom.
