Stillorgan College Presented with Prestigious Cathaoirleach’s Award

At an awards ceremony in the Assembly Hall of Dun Laoghaire Rathdown's County Hall on the 8th June, 2016, Cllr Saul presented the award to college's principal, Mr Kevin Harrington, in recognition of "outstanding service to the community of Dun Laoghaire Rathdown".  Accepting the award on behalf of the college community, the principal said that the award was a great honour, particularly given that the college was marking its 50th anniversary this year.

Speaking at the awards ceremony, the Cathaoirleach, Cllr Saul, said of the recipients of the award that they were "great examples of initiatives that have contributed so much to the lives of ordinary people in very different ways. It is to all these people that the annual Cathaoirleach's Awards event is dedicated - to give public recognition to those people who have given outstanding service to their local community."
